Flu Vaccinations! Posted or Updated on 30 Oct 2025

Flu Vaccinations Now Available — Book Yours Today

Did you know that last winter’s flu vaccination programme is estimated to have prevented around 100,000 hospital admissions in England? Getting vaccinated doesn’t just reduce your risk of catching flu — for many people, it means milder illness, fewer complications such as serious chest infections, and a much lower chance of hospitalisation.

If you are aged 65 or over, pregnant, have a chronic health condition, or are a child eligible for the nasal flu vaccine, you are strongly encouraged to get your flu jab this season.

We are now open for flu vaccinations. You may have already received a booking link via text or email to self-book your appointment. If you did, please use that link to schedule your visit.

If you did not receive a link, there’s no need to worry. You can call our reception team and they will help you book an appointment, or you can fill in an online booking form via our practice website and we will contact you to arrange a suitable time.

Please don’t delay — getting vaccinated early gives you the best protection before flu season peaks.

For more information, including who’s eligible and how the vaccine works, visit the NHS website: Why vaccination is important – NHS - https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/why-vaccination-is-important-and-the-safest-way-to-protect-yourself/
