Register For Online Services
If you are not yet registered for online access, all you need to do is register by clicking the above link, complete the online form and then once you have registered you will then be contacted by one of our dedicated receptionists to verify your identity virtually and they will process your application and provide you with full access.
Online Access and Repeat Prescription Ordering
You can request repeat medication online via Patient Access, which is a secure network. All you need to do is register by clicking the above register for online services link.
Pateint Access will give you a facility to send repeat prescription requests to the surgery. We will still require 2 working days to process requests. You can monitor the progress of your request via your Patient Access Homepage.
Please remember to say where you wish to collect your repeat prescription from i.e. Reception, Jaypharm, Morrison’s, Whinchat or First Care.
With this facility, you are also able to view your medical records online.
Our practice has a strict confidentiality policy.
Inappropriate Use
We monitor the use of this service and we are sure that you will find it useful. However if we find that there is any abuse of the service, we will revoke your access to the service. We would consider that making multiple requests for medication when it is not due to be an abuse of the system.
Your Responsibility
The practice will take every measure to ensure that your Patient Access application is secure. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Patient Access account remains this way. You are able to terminate or reset your Patient Access account at any time by contacting the surgery in writing. You may wish to do this if you think someone else knows your logging in details or if you have shared details with a family member or partner and no longer wish them to know these details.
All information that is sent to your surgery via Patient Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information.
Registration Process
- Download the Patient Access guidance, proxy access and application form (DOCX, 61KB). Please read the guidance carefully.
- Visit Patient Access to create your account.
- Enter your personal registration details exactly as they appear on the registration form. If the information does not match, your registration will not be accepted. There is a help section for any problems that you may encounter.
- Patients who are registered for online access, can also have access to their childs medical records or a patient whom is in their care. The person of whom the proxy access is required for will need to complete an online form by clicking the above Proxy Access for GP Online Services link.
